Mayor for Birmingham and other Cities election date formally announced-News round up
Greg Clark is one of the MP’s arriving at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce this morning to discuss and debate the issue of cities who are voting in this year’s Directly Elected Mayor referendum. The Chamber is expected to announce it’s wide support of the idea and to start to engage it’s members and government in what powers are needed to help businesses to get Brum working better.
The referendum in May and election in November(should that be a Yes) are finally making national papers and there has been much wider coverage today than to date.
